Journeyfor Celebrates 10th Anniversary at SPB

Creative agency, Journeyfor was one of Scottish Provident Building’s first tenants when the building opened back in 2010.

We spoke to founder and creative director, Tim McCullough about his and the company’s experience during their time with SPB.

When did you move into SPB?

We moved into the Scottish Provident Building in 2010, just as the building was being redeveloped. Our first office was Suite 209 on the second floor, but as the needs and members of our team have grown, so has the size of our office.

What attracted you to SPB and do you remember what your first impressions were (of the building/management team) at that time? 

When we began Journeyfor, we wanted to be in the heart of Belfast and you can’t get any closer than the Scottish Provident Building. We were one of the first new tenants and being a new venture ourselves, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to move into such an iconic, landmark building. It was a high spec, top service space from the outset. 

How has the VenYou team been able to help your business evolve over the last 10 years?

The team at VenYou has always been very accommodating to our demands as a business. Nothing is too much trouble. The set–up is perfect for what we need from tech to meeting facilities. The serviced office space, as well as the level of service that we receive from VenYou, has ensured Journeyfor was positioned in the right way early on with our clients. 

For you, what’s the best part about having a business located in SPB? 

Apart from the ideal location of Scottish Provident Building in the centre of Belfast, our business at Journeyfor is all about building brands which includes brand perception for our clients, so it’s important that we also make good choices for our own brand. Clients like to visit us and generally comment on the standard and beautiful details of the building and for me, that’s very reassuring and sends out a positive message about our own brand.

What have been some of your business highlights over the last 10 years?

There have been many highlights for Journeyfor but seeing the strategic side of the business grow has been very rewarding. We have helped some of the leading businesses in Northern Ireland communicate their vision and purpose effectively to their customers and audiences. 

What would you say to someone who was considering moving their business to SPB? 

At the Scottish Provident Building, everything you need for a startup or established company is provided. Having the support from a serviced offices provider like VenYou has allowed us, as a business, to focus on what was important as well as allowing us to continue to grow. 

Any exciting business plans for the future that you would like to share?

Over our 10 years at SPB, we have had steady growth and development and we have been able to focus on honing and expanding our offering. We are now able to offer a refined mix of brand thinking, strategic positioning and digital content development, which means we can move into new territories in 2021 and beyond. The landscape is ever changing and Journeyfor’s USP is 

to add real value as a creative agency which specialises in brand strategy, identity design, culture development, messaging and film to our growing and diverse client base.
