Ortus Secured Finance is a principal lender providing residential and commercial bridging loans throughout the UK market. The company has enjoyed continual growth since being established in 2013 in a small office in Charles Street, London.
Whilst Ortus has been lending in Northern Ireland for nine years, the company set up a full time presence in Belfast in 2019, and now operates with seven staff within venYou’s Scottish Provident Building.
Brief
Ortus Secured Finance advanced its first loan in Northern Ireland in March 2015, and since then, has continued to expand its loan book and customer base both in Northern Ireland and across the UK. Due to this continued growth, Ortus Secured Finance looked to Northern Ireland as an ideal location to establish a full time base to support both further loan book growth and an administrative hub for the entire UK business, drawing on the region’s world-renowned talent pool and taking advantage of lower cost base.
Top of Ortus’s priority list was finding an office space that had the necessary supports in place to complement the company’s business objectives, and one that offered the flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of a burgeoning office in a new market.
