venYou’s Sponsorship Success at Belfast Telegraph Business Awards 2023

The Belfast Telegraph Business Awards is one of the pinnacle award ceremonies in the Northern Ireland business calendar, bringing together the best of the region’s emerging and established businesses.

venYou was proud to attend this year’s ceremony, which took place late last month at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Belfast as sponsor of the Best Start-Up or Emerging Business category, which celebrates emerging business or start-up companies across all sectors of Northern Ireland business.

With five fantastic companies shortlisted, the winner of this category on the night was Obbi Golf, which specialises in providing safety compliance for sports and recreation clubs worldwide through its digital platform, making compliance obligations manageable and accessible for club managers.

venYou’s Client Services Director, Donna Linehan, presented the award on the night to Gareth Macklin, Managing Director and Chris McAtackney, Chief Product Officer, of Obbi Golf. Donna said, “It is great to see emerging businesses like Obbi Golf utilising tech to offer innovative solutions to the market. I’m delighted that Gareth, Chris and their team have been recognised for their efforts at this year’s Belfast Telegraph awards, and I wish them the best going forward.”

Commenting on their recent award success, Gareth Macklin said: “I am absolutely delighted to have won this award.
